- Place order for New Indian PassportExpediting appointments are very limited. We are processing applications based on when we receive the documents and the dates of travel. To ensure your passport is ready on time, please place the order and forward your documents to us as soon as possible.

What documents do I need to apply for a new Indian passport?
For a first-time Indian passport you need proof of identity (any one of Aadhaar card, PAN card, Voter ID/EPIC, driving license or a government-issued photo ID), proof of address (such as an Aadhaar card, a utility bill no older than 3 months, a bank or post office passbook, a rent agreement or an employer certificate) and proof of date of birth (a birth certificate, Class X certificate, PAN card, Aadhaar card or driving license showing your date of birth).
How long does it take to get a new Indian passport with VisaHQ?
Most new passport applications handled by VisaHQ are processed and delivered in about 4–7 business days once we receive your completed paperwork. We review everything for errors before submitting it at the Passport Seva Kendra, so there are no surprises or delays.
Who can apply for a new Indian passport?
A new (fresh) passport application is for first-time applicants who have never been issued an Indian passport. If you already hold a passport that is expiring or has expired, apply for a renewal instead; if it was lost, stolen or damaged, apply for a replacement.
How much does VisaHQ charge to apply for a new passport?
VisaHQ charges its own service fee to review your application for errors, prepare your paperwork and handle the submission on your behalf. This is separate from the official passport fee charged directly by the Passport Seva Kendra / Ministry of External Affairs as part of the government application process.
