Uzbekistan e Visa For Tourism

The e-visa for tourism is a visa designed for leisure trackers, fun seekers, and persons making courtesy calls to visit friends and families in Uzbekistan. This visa is issued online after submitting a completed application form. The tourist visa is of two types; the single and the multiple entry visa, so you can decide which one will suit your purpose. If you wish to make Uzbekistan your second home for the holidays, the multiple entry visa will be your best option.

The visa allows you to stay in the country for 30 days at a time which means that you can revisit with the same visa and stay for another 30 days if you hold one with a multiple-entry feature.

This visa becomes active when issued, so you are advised to use it as quickly as possible. Your basic information filled into the application form must be valid and reflect what is on your document to avoid rejection.

Uzbekistan Visa Policy

Persons traveling to Uzbekistan need visas issued by any of the Uzbekistani diplomatic missions abroad or online, with the exception of those who are citizens of visa-exempt countries. If you are from a visa-exempt country, you don’t need a visa before entering Uzbekistan. Visa-exempt visitors can stay in the country for varying periods depending on their nationality; for instance, some visitors can stay for 39 or 60 days, while others, predominantly from countries that made up the former Soviet Union, may stay for an unlimited period.

Uzbekistan also allows transit passengers from some countries to stay up to 10 days while waiting for their connecting flight en route to another country.

Uzbekistan Visa On Arrival

The visa-on-arrival program is for selected countries. Under this program, eligible visitors are issued a visa confirmation which the Ministry of Foreign Affairs issues. This visa on arrival is only granted at the Tashkent International Airport for short trips of a noncommercial nature.

Uzbekistan e Visa

The electronic visa of Uzbekistan is another visa program for those looking for a short means to acquire visas for the trip. This visa is issued as a single or multi-entry document and allows the holder to stay in Uzbekistan for up to 30 days per visit.

The visa comes at a cost which is the application fee paid with a credit or debit card, and it must be applied for at least three days before your trip.

E visas don’t require visits to a foreign mission office for physical filling; it is only available to persons from selected jurisdictions. Simply complete the application form online and submit it for processing; it’s easy.

Key Information About Uzbekistan e Visa

Below, we review valuable information about this e-visa and the things to bear in mind as you prepare for the trip to Uzbekistan.

Not Extendable: The election visa program doesn’t have a provision for an extension. This means that the visa can’t be extended once it becomes active or when you are inside the country. It is valid for 90 days and cannot be altered in any way. Once inside Uzbekistan, you cannot apply to the authorities for any extension.

If you believe the 30 days maximum stay will be insufficient, you should get a long-stay visa instead.

The Application Fee is Mandatory: The application fee for this visa is mandatory and must be paid by every applicant. This fee is used for processing the form and the documents you submit alongside it. Application fees are paid with a bank card and are not refundable.

Travel With The Same Passport: Visitors are always advised to arrive with the same passport used for the application. Those who arrive with a different passport will not be allowed into the country through the airports or land borders. If your passport does not meet the validity conditions, we implore you to apply for a new one before submitting your application.

Always Book In Advance: As an international traveler, booking your documents in advance is always in your best interest. This includes your visa, flight tickets, and hotel reservation. For the visa, you should book it at least 3 days in advance of your trip since that is the maximum number of days it will take to get the visa. After getting the visa, you can book your flight ticket and hotel room. Although it is possible to book both before getting your visa, this is risky and may cause you to lose funds if the visa is not approved.

Never Overstay: Never stay for longer than is allowed by the visa you are holding. If you have a single-entry visa, don’t go for a multiple-entry visa. The maximum number of days allowed per visit is 30; don’t stay for 31 days or more, as that will be an immigration violation. Always plan your itinerary to suit the visa you have.

Use Approved Routes: Travelers are advised to use only approved routes to enter Uzbekistan.

These routes are approved airports for international travelers and border crossings between Uzbekistan and other surrounding neighbors.

Travel With A Copy: Make sure you print out a copy of your visa from your email and travel with it to Uzbekistan. The border agents will request this copy at the entry point, and law enforcement officers may also request it during routine checks inside the country. You should always carry it with you when outdoors, just in case.

Hold Enough Money: The government expects everyone coming to Uzbekistan to be financially self-sufficient, which is why proof of funds may be requested at the entry point.

While it is not illegal to carry cash, there is a limit to the amount of cash you can carry due to the country’s

financial laws.

Check Your Eligibility: Before applying, always check your eligibility. You are eligible for visa-free entry, a visa on arrival, an e-visa, or a consular visa issued by a foreign mission office. You obviously don't need this visa if you are from a visa-free country. If you are from a visa-on-arrival eligible country, you may apply for the e-visa if you don’t want to spend too much time at the airport in Tashkent waiting for a visa. If you are not eligible for these three options, apply for a consular visa.
