American Samoa COVID-19 travel restrictions

  American Samoa has lifted travel restrictions limiting the entry of international travelers as of October 26, 2022.
  
  Samoa's Borders are Open to International Travelers. Flights to Samoa currently operate direct from Auckland with Air New Zealand, Sydney/Brisbane with Qantas, Nadi (Fiji) and Honolulu (Hawaii) with Fiji Airways.

  Prior to arrival restrictions

  Valid passport. Valid national passport with at least 6 month remaining validity after the date of departure.

  Valid visa. Please see the instructions above if you need visa and apply.

  Negative COVID-19 test. American Samoa requires inbound travelers five years old and above to be fully vaccinated, with exceptions. Inbound travelers must register on the TALOFAPASS at least 10 days before entry. Travelers, except from the US and Samoa, must receive a negative result from a COVID-19 PCR test 72 hours or less before departure.

  Upon arrival requirements

  🏠Quarantine. Travelers must quarantine for 14 days on arrival unless authorized by local authorities to leave earlier.

  😷Masks are not required as officials have also relaxed a facemask mandate (people that test positive for COVID-19 must wear facemasks for 10 days or until testing negative)
